All mortgage calculations on Mortgage Number Lab run entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Financial values you enter — such as home price, loan amount, interest rate, income, or debt payments — are processed locally on your device.
These input values are not transmitted to our servers, not stored in a database, and not shared with third parties by our application.
When you use the share feature on a calculator, your inputs may be encoded into the page URL as query parameters (e.g., ?price=400000&rate=6.5). These are not stored by the site — they exist only in the link you choose to share.
Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically record certain technical information when you visit, which can include:
- Your IP address (used for server-side request handling)
